Year sets to us are a convenient way of making our average sales of larger size and of higher value. We can therefore sell things in bigger units at lower prices. You will find that some year units offer very good savings, and that some others have only a minimal price differential.
There is no compromise on quality; you will find that the standard of goods is every bit as good as is promised in our commemoratives price list, under the "Quality" heading.
We start to quote prices for year sets as from 1963 (later for packs and covers), as before that date one year very often is equal to one set !
Obviously, where something does not exist, it is not included in the year set. (For example where a stamp was issued, but not a presentation pack. Again, refer back to our main commemoratives list to see what is included.)
