"Harvest and Friends" a close relation of Folk'n'Friends every Thursday in the Bowlers Rest, 24, Mitchell St, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 7BD. Mitchell Street runs between Constitution Street and Elbe Street. Music starts about 9pm and format is pretty similar to Folk'nFriends.
"Out of the Bedroom" to quote directly from their own website (at http://ootb.typepad.com/ootb/) "is an open mic session for songwriters every Thursday evening at the historic Waverley Bar in Edinburgh's Old Town. All songwriters - and anyone who wants to enjoy good original music - are welcome !"

virtually every Tuesday evening at The Waverley Bar, Saint Mary's

Edinburgh. Singers, and non-singing visitors always welcome. Whether
traditional or self-written, in the folk music genre or whatever, we
simply like songs. |
