Robert Murray Stamp Shop,
Edinburgh

"Retirement Sale" big mixes.
We've got big stocks of this stuff so we've decided to make up some special clearance batches. Our stock of these is of millions of stamps so we'd be happy for you to buy a few thousand !
Each lot will be 500g of world off-paper, plus 200g of UK off-paper, and we'll also chuck in a few odd "freebies" with each batch. (If you buy a repeat lot we'll try not to repeat the same free items. Therefore if you are making a repeat order please tell us when you bought your previous one - or better still if you have a note of the code letter on the back of the pack.)
There will definitely be duplication among the thousands of stamps you get, and please allow for there being some damaged here and there. (There might even be an odd stamp on-paper, etc. There is so much stuff we can't possibly check each one.)
Give one a go !
£40 per lot
- or go big and get three lots for £100. (Postage extra)

For those of you who cannot get in to our shop to see these bags "in the flesh" here's some photographs. We have genuinely taken one bag at random of each type, spread the contents out on the table and taken one photo. Nothing added, nothing taken away. The photo does not of course show every stamp. Another bag will have different contents; these pictures are to give you a flavour of what the mixes are like. The only thing we've done to make the pictures look better are to spread the stamps out wide, and to spend a few minutes turning many of the stamps face-up. Remember that in most of this picture the stamps are several deep.
Quantity ? We took a randon handful from the world mix and counted out the first 200 stamps that came to hand, and they weighed 14.5g. On that basis, the 500g bag would contain 6,896 stamps. So it is reasonable to expect at least 6,000 stamps (but big stamps weigh more !).

And this is a sample UK bag, with about 200g weight of stamps.
