Monday 28 October 2013

 Canons' Gait Bar

Hi. I'm Bob Murray, and I'd like to invite you along for an evening of songs.They'll be a bunch of my favourites; ones that I want to share with you and hope you'll enjoy.
There will be a real mix - from love to protest, historical to mildly amusing, all sorts of stuff. I suppose most people would class me as a "folk singer", but folk song ain't what it used to be ! I expect I'll most likely be doing stuff by songwriters such as Hamish Henderson, Richard Thompson, Michael Marra, Eric Bogle, Peter Gabriel, Robert Burns, Karine Polwart, Violet Jacob and others (including myself !).

 What previous audiences have said;
"Sings from the heart and makes every word count."
"Always seems to ruffle the hair on the back of my neck."
"The best political creative on the circuit."
Support act will be provided by "The Soggy Barnton Boys" !
