Session host at weekly Scottish traditional music session at the Canons' Gait bar, 232 Canongate, Edinburgh (mainly instrumental, Wednesdays, from 8.15pm). (See also session Facebook page.)

the Canons' Gait bar, 232 Canongate, Edinburgh (largely traditional, but anything goes, normally second Sunday of each month 3-6pm). (See also session Facebook page.)
Singer and occasional songwriter, mainly in Scottish traditional style, with special interest in protest and political (see www.nationalanthem.scot), the songs of Robert Burns, etc.
Plays with band "Noisy Shoes",  (www.noisyshoes.com, email thump@noisyshoes.com).
Two themed one-man shows are performed now and again; "A National Anthem for Scotland" and "A History of Scotland in Fifteen Songs".

Bob Murray has from time to time taken walking tours around the Old Town and/or New Town of Edinburgh, either for small or large groups, generally of between 1½ and 3
½ hours duration. Tours can be tailored to meet special interests, but are aimed at people who are happy to cover the ground.
He can also provide running tours in the city centre, on routes largely avoiding busy streets.
No public tours currently planned, but private tours can be arranged directly.
